Welcome to Gridiron Cannabis Foundation

A Non-profit Foundation focused on developing medical research, education, and creating a State of the Art Neurological Research Facility combining the latest research and therapeutic tools used in the treatment of:

CTE, Concussions, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Neuropathy, Dementia, Chronic Inflammation, Leukemia, Brain and other cancers

“They put their bodies on the line every Sunday to stage the most brutal, ravishing, and profitable pageant in sports. But in a scandal of staggering proportions, they play hurt, sustain severe physical and mental damage, and are denied help when they need it most.” From Casualties of the NFL by Paul Sosltaroff

The stories are legendary – and, in many respects, horrifying. The culture of football and the heroes of the 60’s and 70’s were tough; but they played because they loved the game. And we, the American public fell hard for our heroes. They responded by providing their adoring fans with even harder hits and more compelling competition. No one – owners, coaches, and players truly had any idea of the devastating effects the game would impact on these gridiron greats. Unfortunately, for many, this revelation comes too late.

NOW WE KNOW THE TRUTH.

NOW WE HAVE ADVANCES IN MEDICINE.

NOW WE HAVE NEW LEGAL OPTIONS TO EXPLORE

AND WE HAVE AN OBLIGATION TO IMPROVE THE HEALTH OF OUR HEROES WHO “LEAVE IT ALL ON THE FIELD” SUNDAY AFTER SUNDAY.

Our Mission:

Be on the forefront of medical research and development as it relates to Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).

Create State of the Art Neurological Research Facilities combining the latest research and therapeutic tools used in the treatment of CTE and concussions, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Neuropathy, Dementia, Chronic Inflammation, Leukemia, brain and other cancers.

Creating an educational platform focused on creating public awareness concerning the efficacy of medical cannabis as a medicine for athletes.

Through research, treatment and education, change the NFL policy as it relates to medical cannabis. We will pursue treatment protocol with a greater focus on holistic medicines over pharmaceutical drugs.

Here’s some insight on the neurological conditions like CTE.
